Whether it's reducing costs, replacing equipment with more environmentally friendly alternatives, or optimising processes, there are countless ways to drive sustainability across the supply chain. If you or your business has implemented initiatives to advance sustainability, this category is for you.

This award aims to celebrate the efforts of individuals and businesses driving sustainable improvements. This could include professionals who consistently seek innovative ways to implement positive change or those who take pride in educating others on the importance of sustainability. From a business perspective, it may also recognise companies that invest time, resources, and expertise to help others achieve sustainability goals.

Coming up with ways to make sustainable changes is often a straightforward process. Implementing those changes, however, can require huge amounts of effort, persistence, and skill. For this award we are looking for nominations for individuals and businesses that have taken steps within the workplace that will deliver measurable changes towards achieving sustainability now or in the future.

This award celebrates charities, social enterprises, and community projects that demonstrate exceptional dedication to their causes. We look forward to hearing about the incredible support being provided to individuals, groups, and communities, as well as inspiring fundraising efforts and remarkable success stories. Making Britain a clean energy superpower is a key priority for our Government. In support of this mission, this award will recognise the individual or business that has made significant contributions toward advancing Britain's energy goals. This could include investing in renewable energy and green technologies, enhancing energy efficiency through equipment upgrades or building improvements, advocating for clean energy policies, or adopting sustainable practices in their work or lifestyle.

A circular economy moves away from the traditional "take, make, dispose" model, focusing on maximising resource use through reuse, recycling, and regeneration. This award recognises those advancing this model by implementing innovative strategies and initiatives that reduce waste, enhance resource efficiency, and drive sustainability. It also highlights efforts to promote circular practices, encouraging businesses to minimise environmental impact while creating long-term value for communities and future generations.

The IoSCM Supply Chain Awards continue to raise the profile of individuals and organisations working across the supply chain sector. Building on the success of the Decade of IoSCM celebrations the previous year, a wonderful evening was enjoyed by guests, sponsors, and category winners alike. 2023 saw the incorporate of The Sustain Chain Awards, a welcome addition to highlight the importance of sustainability throughout the supply chain.

The annual IoSCM Supply Chain Awards event is the perfect opportunity for IoSCM to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our learners, clients, members, and professionals from across the supply chain for their hard work and dedication. Every year, we open the voting to enable individuals and organisations to nominate themselves, employees, colleagues, clients, or suppliers to win a prestigious award. To celebrate IoSCM’s 10-year anniversary, the IoSCM Supply Chain Awards we’re bigger than ever, with all day event taking place at the Copthorne Hotel, Newcastle. The event included an exhibition with guest speakers, workshops, and panel discussions, with the awards dinner, ceremony, and live music to complete the day.
