This was awarded to Peter Cottle, Head of Supply Chain and Logistics at Walker Filtration. Peter received this award for his outstanding contributions to the business. Renowned for his leadership and communication skills, he actively invests in team development through coaching and mentoring, while also leading initiatives like the implementation of Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP). This was awarded to Rob Derbyshire for successfully completing his Level 5 Diploma with IoSCM, a challenging qualification typically pursued by experienced middle managers. This was awarded to Walker Filtration for their exceptional commitment to employee development and well-being. Nominated by a team member, the company demonstrates dedication through robust training programmes and a supportive work environment, including mental health support and wellness initiatives. This was awarded to Daniel Beatty, Global Product and Packaging Productivity Manager at Tommee Tippee (Mayborn Group). Daniel spearheaded the initiative to reduce single-use plastics by removing them, sourcing sustainable alternatives, and closely tracking the impact of these changes. Presented by Alison Gittins
This was awarded to Owen Lewis for his exceptional coursework. His submissions consistently showcase outstanding quality and effective use of organisational experience, with one tutor noting he is among the few learners rated as Excellent. Presented by Leigh Sear.
This was awarded to David Clark for his outstanding contributions and advocacy for professional development. Initially an Expert grade member, he progressed to IoSCM Certified Expert after transitioning from a military career to a role at Jaguar Land Rover. David actively encourages his colleagues to pursue IoSCM membership and qualifications, helping to advance the professionalisation of the wider industry. Presented by Stuart Murray
This was awarded to Essex Services Group for their leadership in mechanical and electrical installations on major London projects. They have partnered with 2050 Materials to collect and share data on the embodied carbon of products in their supply chain, enabling manufacturers to assess and improve their environmental impact. By promoting sustainability and providing tools to measure and reduce embodied carbon, Essex Services Group is driving significant environmental improvements across the industry. This was awarded to Gary Calveley for his extensive career spanning over 40 years at Unilever and Ecolab. Starting as an electrical apprentice, he held various leadership roles, including VP for Global Customer Service Excellence and Planning, where he developed innovative programmes to enhance supply chain efficiency. Now leading a boutique consultancy, Gary supports other organisations in achieving supply chain excellence. Presented by Ben Bradford
Additionally, Gary Calveley and Malcolm Trotter achieved the prestigious Certified Expert status, a recognition marking the pinnacle of expertise within their respective sectors of the supply chain.

This was awarded to The Brick for their innovative approach to tackling poverty and reducing waste. By partnering with companies to redirect surplus goods – including essential household items like bedding, cleaning supplies, and clothing – the Brick by Brick project ensures these products reach people in need rather than ending up as waste. This was awarded to the Mayborn Group (Tommee Tippee) for their exceptional commitment to sustainability. Already recognised for their impressive record in sustainable practices, the Mayborn Group has taken significant steps to eliminate single-use plastics from their operations. Beyond reduction, they have come up with innovative ways to use plastics more sustainably, showcasing their dedication to responsible and ethical practices across the business. This was awarded to Lumo Trains for their pioneering efforts as Britain’s first 100% electric train fleet. Based in Newcastle, Lumo’s trains are setting a new standard for eco-friendly travel, producing 25 times less carbon than traditional air travel. This fully electric approach not only reduces emissions significantly but also demonstrates Lumo’s commitment to sustainable, green practices throughout their operations. Presented by Jayson Gurney

As a leader in safety and survival training for industries like oil and gas, maritime, and wind, they set high ethical standards, requiring partners to meet global benchmarks in responsible business conduct. By reducing their environmental impact and supporting clients’ sustainability goals, Thorn has influenced the construction sector to prioritise eco-friendly lighting solutions in major projects across the UK and internationally. This was awarded to Teesside Airport for its outstanding commitment to health and safety, extending beyond regulatory compliance to foster a culture of well-being. Their proactive safety initiatives and participation in UK Airports Health & Safety Week highlighted their focus on staff well-being and mental health awareness. Presented by Joshua Leach-Aslam
This was awarded to Finlay Beverages for their remarkable progress in their Sustainable Future 2030 strategy. With 94% of waste recycled, reused, or reclaimed, and 82% of energy from renewable sources, Finlay Beverages demonstrates strong commitment to sustainability. Additionally, they ensure a responsible supply chain with 100% traceable tea and 94% of green bean coffee exceeding industry standards. Presented by Jason Smith
this was awarded to The Military Veteran Football Club for its commitment to supporting military veterans and Armed Forces members. Through inclusive football sessions across 11 UK locations, the club fosters physical and mental well-being, social connection, and community support. Run by veterans, the project keeps sessions affordable, providing mental health and first aid training for over 200 participants. Presented by Alison Stephenson.
